Christmas Day 2015

We spend Christmas Day driving to Branson to be with Mimi and Grandpa.  We got to see Mimi, Gramps, Amy, Elizabeth, Eleanor & Lucy.  We went to the timeshare at Falls Creek.  We stayed in for the most part.  We enjoyed exchanging presents and stockings.  Amy got a funny Rudolph nose. We got slinkies and raced them down the stairs.  We played a new Star Wars Risk game.  We went to see Star Wars at the big IMAX theater.

My Mom ate the WHOLE THING!

Christmas Eve

This year we opened presents on Christmas Eve at Great Granny's. We had a big bunch of people there and more presents than anyone could imagine.  Granny lives for seeing her family enjoy Christmas.  It is her favorite holiday.  She has a beautiful tree, presents with lots of bows and glitter.  They are all hand wrapped, no bags.  It really is a site to see.

Happy Christmas Surprise

Tim, Megan, Madelyn, Theodore, Sadie & Daisy came to Fort Smith for a short visit.  We were able to meet up with them at the Henson's House.  They are always so sweet to allow us to visit there.  Wish we could have spent more time with them, but now that they are living 2 states away instead of 20 states away, so we might get to see them a little bit more.  It was great to see you guys.

Holiday Tradition - Part 2

On my parents anniversary we exchange ornaments.  Mommy and Daddy pick an ornament that has to do with something mushy about their relationship & mine ties into something I really liked that year.  I also get Christmas PJs.

This year I received the Doctor Who Tardus as an ornament.  I also received Doctor Who PJs.  If you have seen other post this year, you know that I was the 11th doctor for Halloween and that we do ginger bread houses for a Christmas tradition.  So my Doctor Who gingerbread house jammies are really cool!  Mommy got a Super Mario shirt & Daddy also got a Doctor Who shirt.

Holiday Traditions - Part 1

Tradition 1- is making cookies and some form of ginger bread house.  This year I did a gingerbread tree.  I did all the decorating by myself.

Nana started early and made the star tower.

Getting tips from Granny

Thanks to Nana we got them done fast

Christmas Parade

SHS participated in the Sebastian County Christmas Day Parade.  We got to show off our new uniforms.  As you can see from my facial expression I am not so sure about the look.  We look like great big happy elves.  They are getting even newer ones next year.  Look in the pictures, I am the one in the shades holding the symbols.
